Pine and Bedford’s Holiday is our winter-inspired bar from the Every Day Lather Collection, made with Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, RSPO Palm Oil, Castor Oil, Kaolin Clay and Coconut Milk. It produces a lovely, rich lather and has a beautifully smooth feel in the hand.

Holiday is as festive as it sounds. The base is swirled in red, green and white, while the top is decorated with tiny holly berries, acorns, ivy, holly pine boughs, and yellow and white flowers. Because each bar is poured and decorated by hand, no two are exactly alike.

The fragrance is a complex but gentle blend of winter berries, citrus fruits and fresh winter greens, with just the faintest suggestion of peppermint. It is fresh and seasonal without being overpowering — the kind of fragrance that says winter rather than shouting candy cane.

It is a medium sized bar that weighs approximately 128g / 4.5 oz and measures: Width: 6.3cm / 2.5 inches. Height: 7.6cm / 3 inches. Depth: 2.5cm / 1 inch.Why did we make this?

Every winter collection needs a Holiday soap — but I wanted ours to be something a little different.

I enjoy peppermint, but I didn’t want a Holiday soap that smelled overwhelmingly of it. This fragrance caught my attention because peppermint is there, but quietly. Instead, you get winter berries, citrus and fresh greens all working together to create something festive, fresh and surprisingly sophisticated.

Add the red, green and white swirl and all those little winter decorations on top, and Holiday became exactly what I wanted: the holidays in a bar of soap — without smelling like a candy cane.
