Our Formlation Philosoaphy - how we think about what goes into our soap -- and what doesn't .

We don't choose ingredients simply because they sound natural, and we don't reject ingredients because their names sound chemical.

We look at what an ingredient does, why it is needed, how much is appropriate, and whether if belongs in the product we are making.

Our approach has evolved as our knowledge has grown, but one principle has never changed. If I wont' use it, I won't sell it.   I even put beard oil on my face for a months - to make sure the oils were low on the comedogenic scale.
