Reawaken your spirit with this Bird of Paradise scented uber-luxurious P&B soap. The fragrance is reminiscent of getting off a plane in Hawaii and smelling the glorious Bird of Paradise Flowers. This bar is very creamy and is made from a blend of 9 oils and butter along with Aloe Vera Gel and Coconut Milk Powder.

Note: if you have purchased this product before, we have updated the fragrance to be softer and slightly sweeter than the old fragrance. Unfortunately, the new fragrance has turned the base colour of this bar quite dark compared to the previous batch. We will take into consideration and adjust the colour in our next batch. As a result we have decreased the price 20%, for this batch only.

Caution: (Nut Allergies) contains Sweet Almond Oil.

We abide by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) fragrance limits and most of our soap throws a moderate level of fragrance. This particular fragrance is a bit stronger (moderate to high) than our normal bar.

This is a medium-sized bar that weighs approximately: 117 g / 4 oz and measures approximately: Width: 6.3 cm /2.5 inches. Height: 7.6 cm / 3 inches. Depth: 2.5 cm / 1 inch.

This soap was inspired by my many trips to Maui. I love the smell of Hawaii. This soap is fragranced with one of the scents I recall. The base soap is a muted orangey-yellow to represent the main colour in the Bird of Paradise flower, and then toward the top is blue and pink. It is topped with green soap shavings to represent green foliage.

What is silica? Silica is the name given to a group of minerals composed of silicon and oxygen, the two most abundant elements in the earth's crust. The pink mica we use at the top contains silicon dioxide.

Note: As a vegan soap, we ensure that we have used bug-free micas. I am sure this is no surprise to those who know me, and my dislike of all 'buggy-things'.

What is RSPO? Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.
Responsibly Sourced Palm Oil producers who comply with the guidelines set out by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil receive an RSPO certification. Some soap makers choose to avoid Palm oil, but we source our Palm from the roughly 20% of companies that are certified as Identity Preserved (IP) by the RSPO.
Why? Well, for two reasons. By buying from certified producers who voluntarily adhere to the RSPO guidelines, we help growers who are ethical and sustainable. Second, Palm oil is abundant and creates a beautiful bubbly lather and a nice hard bar.
